The Farm

After our visit in Illinois, my parents were SO sweet and drove out to New Jersey with the girls and me. On the way to NJ we stopped by my grandparents' farm. I spent many a childhood weekend there and it was home to many great memories for me. My grandma hadn't yet met Colin, so this made a great opportunity to visit with her.

I think my kiddos enjoyed the farm. We went hunting for morels in the woods but didn't find any. The girls were consoled, though, with the many deer tracks they found. They were also excited because we got to go "camping" at the farm. It was my kind of camping -- in my parent's air-conditioned travel trailer. That's about as rough as it's going to get when Mommy is in charge of lodging!

Katie, you look so young and cute...you could totally be those girls older sister instead of their mom! :)

What gorgeous pictures!! What a neat place to be able to take your kids. They'll have great memories of that, I'm sure.
