The local weather folks had been predicting this storm since last Monday. Sure enough, it came just when they said it would and it's just as bad as they predicted. The ice is pretty to look at, but some of the trees in our neighborhood probably aren't going to make it. They're losing branches everywhere!
Here are some snaps from inside - we didn't want to go outside because the branches keep falling down and the trees are making ominous creaking noises. Keeping our fingers crossed that we don't lose power!

Brrrr....that looks very, very cold. Altho the ice in SD was much prettier since it was freezing fog and formed hoar frost, I'm sure they both do the same kind of damage.
Wow! That is beautiful but can be dangerous. I hope you don't lose power.
