US Botanic Garden
We procrastinated on Christmas shopping last weekend by hitting the US Botanic Gardens for a visit. They were decorated for Christmas with a train exhibit, imaginative houses and fairies made out of plant materials, and even the Capitol Mall and presidential homes made out of plant materials.
There are so many interesting things to see and do here!

Seriously - no coats??? Where are you living in December? Looks BEAUTIFUL!!!
Looks amazingly like our botanic garden--except all our buildings, etc are Chicago. And Thomas is tootling around the track here, too.
