Road Trip, Day 2

Fresno, CA to Albuquerque, NM

1773 miles behind, 442 miles to go (a little over 900 miles today...).

The weather cooperated again and we had a nice tour of California agricultural facilities along CA-99 and then really enjoyed going through the Sierra foothills east of Bakersfield. The Mojave Desert was scrubby and sunny, and I can see the home stretch now.

Katie and the girls are dealing with four inches of snow, followed by rain and wind, plus collapsing outdoor furniture and power outages--in addition to hurricane force winds blowing along the Pacific Northwest coast. Nice way to finish their time there...

So, who is in charge of the radio on this road trip? And who is in charge of driving? I can just see Bailey driving and you hanging your head out the window sticking your tongue out getting some fresh air!!!
Smooth sailing the rest of the way...
