The tomato horn worm enjoyed a nice couple of weeks in a cocoon deep in the dirt of his jar. Today Claire ran excitedly to the living room with the jar yelling that something was moving in there. He had emerged from his slumber and we had a stubby winged sphinx moth just raring to go.
We put him outside to stretch his wings and get a taste of freedom. Happy Independence Day to all!
